The current map of Novus Examples: a free library of 5,075 sample files across 27 categories, 288 extensions, and 131 curated testing purposes, made for testing converters, background removers, editors, parsers, and upload flows. Every file is generated by a deterministic script rather than collected: copyright-clean, and shipped with an exact spec sheet (noise sigma, silence timestamps, form fields, encodings, seeds). Many arrive as paired fixtures (clean ↔ noisy, colour ↔ greyscale, source ↔ scanned), the library includes deliberately empty, corrupt, and oversized files for error-handling, and fifty-two live targets cover the things a downloadable file cannot test. Alongside the catalog sit 840 visual templates across 42 categories, 243 catalog-backed form definitions, 43 curated document families (36 of them editable in Document Studio), an in-browser editor that now reads and rebuilds archives, and a 402-file video programme covering codecs, streaming manifests, captions, and AI-video ground truths. The four broadcast template categories (80 templates in total) each ship an OBS-compatible scene collection alongside the PNG and WebP downloads: a JSON file you import through Scene Collection → Import that arrives already wired to the overlay you just downloaded, layered above a capture placeholder. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the OBS Project.

Why one relink is neededOBS stores image paths as absolute local paths, so a browser download cannot know where it landed. The collection ships a deliberately fake folder and leans on OBS’s own Missing Files dialog: "Search Directory…" relinks a whole collection in one click, because each download’s save-as name matches the basename the JSON references.
