1. What we use

Essential (always on): Our site needs basic functionality to work (for example, navigation and security). We do not rely on a separate cookie banner for strictly necessary operations.

Optional analytics: If you choose Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SFESMZCD3G) via the googletagmanager.com tag script to understand aggregate traffic (for example, which pages are viewed). We configure IP anonymization. Google Analytics is the only analytics product on this site — we run no other measurement, performance, or session-recording service. If you choose Decline, or never answer the banner, we do not load those scripts for your browser and no page view is recorded.

Local storage: We store your choice under the key novus-stream-cookie-consent in your browser so we do not ask on every visit. This value is not used to identify you personally.

Region cookie (strictly necessary): We set a first-party cookie named nss-ad-region holding a single value — strict or open — derived from the country your request comes from. It exists only so we know which consent rules to apply to you. It stores no identifier, no precise location, and nothing about your browsing.

Advertising (third parties): The site is ad-supported. Advertising is served by Google AdSense. Google may set cookies or use device storage to show and measure ads. Adsterra and Infolinks are no longer used on this site.

2. Where you are changes what loads

In the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: no advertising scripts and no analytics run until you choose Accept on the banner. If you choose Decline, or simply never answer, we load neither — you will not see ads on this site, no ad request is made for you, and no advertising cookie is set. (Our pages do carry a connection hint for Google's ad host, so your browser may open a connection to it before you decide; it carries no ad request and sets no cookie. The Privacy Policy explains this.)

Everywhere else (including the United States): advertising scripts load as part of the page, which is what keeps the site free. The banner still appears and still controls Google Analytics, which we do not load unless you accept, in any region.

3. Third parties

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC. Advertising is provided by Google AdSense (Google LLC). How those services use data depends on their own policies. Linked ecosystem apps (for example the NSS Background Remover and Novus Visualizers) have their own notices when you leave this domain.

4. Your controls

You can change your mind at any time using the button below, or use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may affect how some features work.

In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland the button below controls both analytics and advertising: declining stops the ad networks from loading at all. Elsewhere it controls optional analytics only, and advertising cookies from Google AdSense are managed through your browser settings and industry opt-outs such as YourAdChoices or Your Online Choices. Personalized Google ads can also be managed at adssettings.google.com.
