Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Browsing: We do not require an account to read public content. Like most sites, our hosting and infrastructure may create standard server logs (for example, approximate region, user agent, and requested URLs) for security and reliability.

If you create an account (optional — every page here stays readable without one), we store your name, your email address, a one-way hash of your password, and, if you sign in with Google, the profile picture Google provides. We store the pages you explicitly save, as a page type and an address on this site. For each sign-in we store a session record containing its expiry, the IP address the request came from and the browser user-agent string, which is what lets you stay signed in and lets us end a session that is being abused.

We do not record what you read.There is no per-person reading history, no view counter and no "recently viewed" anywhere in the account. Saving a page is an action you take deliberately; opening one is not stored at all. You can delete your account and everything listed here from your account page, which says exactly what the deletion removes and what it does not.

Contact: If you email us (for example at support@novusstreamsolutions.com), we use what you send only to respond, unless a separate agreement says otherwise.

Analytics (optional): We install Google Analytics 4 (one property, measurement ID G-SFESMZCD3G) with Consent Mode defaults that deny storage in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland and grant it elsewhere, plus IP anonymization. It is configured from one gtag.js loader in the page HTML so the tag can be detected. In opt-in regions, cookies and identifiable storage stay off until you allow optional analytics in the cookie bar. Elsewhere measurement runs by default and you can turn it off at any time. This is the only analytics product on the site. If you turn analytics off, or enable Global Privacy Control, analytics storage remains denied and no consented page view is recorded. Advertising: The site is funded by display, native and social-bar advertising served by Adsterra. When advertising is allowed, your browser loads Adsterra's scripts, and Adsterra and its demand partners may use cookies, scripts, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may receive information such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. Ads and their destinations are provided by advertisers and networks we do not control.

How your choice governs advertising.In the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, or when we cannot tell your country, advertising and analytics both stay off and no advertising script loads until you allow them in the cookie bar, which asks on your first visit. Elsewhere both are on by default, and you can turn either off at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Global Privacy Control turns both off in every region. The legal pages show no ad slots, and the sign-in, sign-up, password and admin screens carry no advertising code at all. We classify your request's country into a single first-party cookie, which decides which default applies to you; see Cookies & analytics for exactly what that stores.

2. How we use information

We use the above to operate and improve the site, respond to requests, measure aggregate traffic when you have consented to analytics, show third-party advertising that keeps the site free, and protect against abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Your choices

Cookie / analytics preferences: Visit Cookies & analytics to change your choice at any time. Turning analytics off disables the Google destination, expires applicable analytics cookies, and reloads once with the gate closed. Your choice is kept on this browser until you change it on that page.

Browser controls: You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Advertising choices: Turn advertising off at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page, or on our Cookies & analytics page, so withdrawing is as easy as agreeing. You can also limit interest-based ads through your browser settings or industry opt-out tools such as YourAdChoices (optout.aboutads.info) and Your Online Choices (youronlinechoices.eu). Blocking cookies in your browser also limits ad tracking.

4. Advertising, external services, and links

We link to our own apps, Sonic Weaver and Testaroo, and to partners. Those sites have separate terms and privacy notices. When you leave novusstreamsolutions.com, that service's policies apply.

Advertising. Ads shown on this site are supplied through Adsterra and may lead to third-party websites and offers that we neither operate nor control. We may earn revenue when ads are shown or clicked. Once you leave novusstreamsolutions.com, the destination’s own terms and privacy notices apply: review them before sharing information or making a purchase.

5. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable measures to protect data, but no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy of it; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict or object to how it is used, including profiling for advertising; and receive it in a portable, machine-readable form. Where we rely on your consent for analytics or advertising, you can withdraw it at any time from the cookie controls on this site. Withdrawing does not affect anything that happened before.

Exercising any of these rights is free, and we will not degrade the site or treat you differently for it. We answer requests within 30 days. These rights come from PIPEDA in Canada and, where they apply to you, from Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and the UK GDPR.

7. Region, children, and contact

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This site is a general-audience portfolio and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete anything we hold.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date will change when we do.
