1. Respect max losing streaks and drawdowns
Even under positive expectation, long losing streaks are normal. The lab’s max-loss / drawdown style stats exist to make that visceral. If a streak would blow up a real bankroll narrative, it should also blow up a casual claim of “easy edge.”
Ask whether your audience (or your future self) could emotionally survive the streak the simulation just produced. If not, the strategy was never practical even if the mean looked fine.

2. Read confidence intervals as width, not comfort
